WWE SmackDown: November 26th, 2021, came with a special announcement that has put Roman Reigns on notice.
So, this particular live show featured a 20-man Battle Royal to determine the #1 contender for the Universal Championship against The Tribal Chief. The Superstar to secure this position was Sami Zayn.
Unfortunately, for both Zayn and Reigns, moments after Zayn’s victory, it was announced that Brock Lesnar is coming back to SmackDown. He was indefinitely suspended after causing havoc on SmackDown and attacking Pearce, but now that ban was lifted.

Keeping that in mind, this is when Roman Reigns becomes cautious about his surroundings. The last time Lesnar came to WWE, it caused the wall of trust surrounding Paul Heyman and Reigns to collapse. The Beast drove a wedge between them, and this time he may even tear the duo apart.

WWE is planning a huge match for Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 38
The Tribal Chief has been the Universal Champion since WWE Payback 2020. It’s been over a year, and he holds the championship with every ounce of pride in him.
But, all good things come to an end and so much his journey as a champion. However, any simple match shouldn’t be the one where he gets dethroned. It needs to be a huge match.

Therefore, reportedly WWE is planning to drag Lesnar vs Reigns all the way till WrestleMania 38. It’s unknown if The Beast will be the one to dethrone Roman Reigns considering Lesnar may not have returned to the company long-term.

On the other hand, it could be the match where Reigns gets dethroned, but not by Lesnar. Let’s keep in mind that The Rock is rumoured to come back as well!
Finally, it doesn’t need to be The Rock or Brock Lesnar who dethrones Roman Reigns. It can be someone else on the main roster who is worthy of it!
