The Royal Rumble match is always filled with twists and turns. The first entrant at the 2022 edition of the Royal Rumble was none other than ‘The Boss’ Sasha Banks herself.

However, to everyone’s shock, three-time WWE Women’s champion Melina entered at 2. Just like her career, the entrance was grand too, with people rolling out the red carpet for the legend to come out.

Melina took her time before entering the ring and performed her iconic split at the apron. The 42-year-old legend looked as fresh as a daisy when she stood face to face against Sasha Banks. However, Melina was quickly eliminated (before the third entrant made her way out) by ‘The Boss’ after the duo exchanged some punches back and forth.

Cameron is back in action!

Other WWE legends like Michelle McCool and Kelly Kelly made their way out to the ring. However, WWE had announced that these superstars will be there at the Rumble.

Eventually, the former Tough Enough superstar, Cameron, made her way out to the ring and shocked the WWE Universe. However, her plan for hanging around longer in the Rumble was hindered by Sonya Deville.

Deville came out early but didn’t join the match right away. Instead, she waited for the right moment and sat at the announcer’s desk for a few minutes. However, she quickly sneaked inside the ring as soon as Cameron entered and eliminated the superstar from the past.

WWE Hall of Famer Ivory had something to say

Perhaps one of the biggest shockers came when former three-time WWE Women’s champion and a Hall of Famer Ivory entered the Rumble at number 18.

Ivory was the superstar from the Attitude Era who put women’s wrestling on the map in WWE. During her entrance tonight, the Hall of Famer had some words.

She said, “It’s been an awful long time, but u can see that nothing has changed. It’s hard for me to look at you girls. What I see is wayward, lost little girls”

While Ivory entered the ring as she made her speech, former NXT Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley eliminated the WWE legend.

Alicia Fox entered the mix!

While the WWE Universe was still getting over with such extravagant surprises, the fans were struck with another blow of nostalgia. The first and only African American Divas Champion in WWE, Alicia Fox, entered the ring at number 21.

The former Divas Champion showed no signs of ring rust as she immediately jumped into the action and the fans just couldn’t believe it.

However, with the entry of Nikki Bella, The Bella Twins were completed. The identical twins strangled Fox on the top rope and pushed her out of the ring.

Ronda Rousey is back!!

Perhaps the biggest surprise of the night was the entry of the former WWE Raw Women’s Champion, Ronda Rousey. The former champion made her comeback on tonight’s Premium Live Event.
