Sami Zayn is currently one of the hottest prospects in the WWE. His underdog nature and submissive attitude toward Roman Reigns rose him up the charts. And to that, his added touch of freshness and excellent mic abilities also aided him in rising the ranks. However, ever since Zayn aligned himself with The Bloodline, he had tensions and issues among his stablemates. While at first he was at war with Jey Uso, he later dissolved it, to only start another tense war with Roman Reigns.

However, Sami Zayn’s tensions with Reigns concluded, when Zayn attacked Roman Reigns in the back with a steel chair. After The Tribal Chief won against Kevin Owens, he launched a ruthless and devastating attack on him.

When Zayn tried stopping Reigns, he was instead asked to hit Owens. When resistance showed up on the former NXT Champion’s face, The Tribal Chief insulted and berated him. It led to Zayn attacking Reigns. Soon, the other members of The Bloodline launched their attack on Sami Zayn as well, except Jey Uso. Jey Uso left The Bloodline on their own and walked out of the arena.

The entire storyline involving Sami Zayn, and The Bloodline has been praised for its long-term booking, and excellent storytelling. WWE fans have also been exceptionally vocal about the booking of Sami Zayn. While fans were excited about Zayn entering the rumble and winning it, they were instead gifted with something better.

Zayn’s betrayal of Reigns and the stable eventually kicking him out was wanted by the fans for a long period, and when it finally happened, they lost. This excellent storytelling extremely touched WWE fans, and how everything panned out. Despite wanting Zayn to win the rumble and turning his back on The Bloodline, they were treated with something better and more realistic.

Royal Rumble 2023 ended with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn lying and withering in pain inside the squared circle.

The entire WWE Universe was gifted with what they have been asking for months now. Royal Rumble 2023 saw the end of Sami Zayn’s time at The Bloodline. After getting insulted constantly, Zayn burst out, and vented his anger on Roman Reigns.

WWE fans were thrilled with what they witnessed and lauded WWE’s decision of booking Sami Zayn like this.
