We’ve seen our fair share of wild contract signings in the WWE. A long term wrestling fan knows that when two Superstars sign a contract for a future match, it’s a recipe for carnage. However, even the most seasoned fan will admit that what happened with Keith Lee on NXT was unprecedented.

To recapitulate, Lee was in the ring to sign the contract for the NXT Championship match against Karrion Kross at NXT Takeover: XXX. With the evil nature of his opponent and his manager Scarlett, we knew that Lee would have to face some underhanded tactics.

The absurdity started when Scarlett handed over the contract to Lee. As soon as the limitless one opened it, a fireball sprung to his face. He began writhing in pain and as WWE reported, was taken to a medical facility.

While there were many interesting reactions, the one given by Samoa Joe was the most intriguing.

Samoa Joe mocked Keith Lee for not seeing through the deceit of Kross and Scarlett. As per him, he had seen it all when it came to contract signings, but never before had he seen someone getting their eyebrows burnt out.

A dream match between Joe and Lee has been on the wish list of the fans for a long time. Both men move incredibly well in the ring despite their massive size.

That makes them a treat to watch for the audiences, but a nightmare for their opponents. Obviously, when the two collide with each other, we can expect fireworks.

Imagine the pop that the Samoan Submission Machine will get if he takes a trip back to NXT. That can happen if no one on the NXT roster can dethrone Lee.

That will leave only one Superstar who can match Lee in strength as well as agility. Joe is already a two time NXT Champion and he won’t mind a third run with the strap.

On the flip side, the more plausible scenario is that Lee makes his main roster debut. Given his look and skill set, he will be one of those rare Superstars who will be revered by both Vince McMahon and Triple H.
