Sasha Banks and Bayley are now a part of history post the latest edition of Monday Night RAW. The duo joins four other teams after achieving this special record.

Bayley and Sasha Banks have had immense chemistry in the ring or outside of it for years. The historic 30 minute ironwoman match is proof of their great chemistry with each other.

Their chemistry shined as  a team as well, as they captured the women’s tag team titles in 2019. The Boss and hug connection would beat five other teams in an elimination chamber match.

A mere 49 days later, they lost the titles to the Iconics at WrestleMania 35. For reasons unknown, Bayley and Banks separated post the event.

On September 2019 on SmackDown, Bayley and Banks reunited again just three months after Bayley cashed in her Money the bank contract and defeated Charlotte Flair.

This time the SmackDown women’s champion and the Boss weren’t the Boss and Hug connection anymore. Now the duo became these mean and bad girls who would conquer everyone and anyone that came in their way.

Bayley and Banks stayed together for over a year, having each other’s back. In June 2020, they defeated Bliss and Cross to win the tag team championships.

Bayley is now a double champion and also the first-ever female grand slam champion.

After winning the team gold, Banks wanted to become a double champion. As everyone felt she would turn on Bayley, The Boss challenged Asuka for the Raw women’s championship.

After going hammer and tongs for months, Banks and Asuka faced each other on the latest edition of RAW. Thanks to a distraction from Bayley, Banks won by count-out and became the RAW women’s champion.

What’s next for Bayley and Sasha Banks?

This record could last a very short time as Bayley defends her title against Nikki Cross this week on SmackDown. If she overcomes Cross, then the possibilities are endless.

One unthinkable thing could be that one of the members of the team emulate Charlotte and go back to NXT to win Io Shirai’s NXT women’s championship.

One thing is for sure, the role models have written their names in history.
