Sasha Banks and Bayley Are Set for One More Upset at WWE Payback – Here’s Why

WWE Payback is scheduled for the upcoming Sunday. The first match to be announced was for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. The champions, ‘Golden Role Models,’ will defend their title against the odd team of Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler.

This situation wouldn’t have been a problem under normal circumstances. However, the ‘Golden Role Models,’ aka Sasha Banks and Bayley, defended their respective Women’s’ Championships in two grueling matches against Asuka. Bayley succeeded in retaining her Smackdown Women’s Title, but Sasha did not.

With another title on the line, against two of the strongest women in WWE, how will this match turn out? Let’s talk about some possibilities.

Here’s why the ‘Golden Role Models’ will lose their titles at WWE Payback

You heard it here first! A few days ago, we reported about the rising tension between Sasha and Bayley. Sasha was visibly devastated when she lost the title.

With Bayley taunting her inability to defend the Raw title, things got serious. She said, “The titles represent their friendship.” So on Sunday, there will be no friendship after they both lose the titles.

Even if we see the facts, Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler are two of the toughest wrestlers. As much as they hate each other, they hate the ‘Golden Role Models’ more. The despair was evident when they cut a promo on SmackDown.

With Jax and Baszler winning the titles, we will see a female version of the “Team Hell No(Kane and Daniel Bryan)” with both of them attending therapy together. If we see this happening, that would be television gold!

Now back to Bayley and Banks, the tension is evident between the two. It’s evident in Sasha’s voice. “This Sunday I’ll get my vengeance” and “my tag team titles.” Even if the creative team does not break them apart at Payback, they can break up sooner or later.

Our Prediction – Sasha Banks will cost them the titles, leading Bayley to attack her. Sasha will then aim for the Smackdown Women’s Championship to teach Bayley a lesson.
