In the latest episode of WWE Monday Night RAW that aired a few hours ago, a major botch was spotted. Many fans may not have picked up on this one, but once you see it, you won’t be able to un-see it.

The match was Sasha Banks vs Shayna Baszler. The two were going head to head in what was a great match. Baszler was just getting into the mood of it when there was a big interference by Asuka.

As soon as we saw her, we knew what she was there for. Asuka immediately rushed to Bayley and caught her unprepared from behind. She then began throwing punches at Bayley, who didn’t seem to know what hit her.

Asuka was exacting revenge for her best friend Kairi Sane, who left WWE a few days ago. In her final appearance for the company, Bayley was seen ambushing and beating up Kairi. All this conveniently took place when Asuka was defending her Raw Women’s Title against Sasha Banks.

WWE saw a very hap-hazard episode of Raw

Asuka rushed to save her friend but was counted out in the meantime. As a result of this, Sasha Banks was crowned the new Champion.

Asuka, on the other hand, was infuriated. She then decided to take the fight to the sly “Golden Role Models”.

She did interfere, and she did attack Bayley. However, the thing that didn’t make sense is, why did the referee ring the bell?

Bayley was not a competitor in the match, nor was Sasha Banks affected by Asuka’s ambush. There were no events that transpired that satisfied the grounds of disqualification.

This major botch made no sense at all, but most viewers got caught up in the thick of Asuka’s fury. RAW is already taking a nosedive in ratings, and the brand cannot afford these kinds of botches.

WWE will have to be more careful in the future when it comes to this. Raw is, of course, walking on thin ice.
