Bayley and Sasha Banks have officially become a golden tag team. The pair has won all the titles of the Women’s main roster by their hook or crook ways and stands tall over the rest. However, they may have taken it too far with Asuka this week.

In the latest episode of RAW, Asuka had to defend her RAW Women’s Championship against a cunning Sasha Banks. During the match, a live screening aired that showed Bayley beating up Asuka’s best friend Kairi Sane and the latter was crying out for Asuka’s help.

Deciding that friendship was more important than a Championship, Asuka rushed to help Kairi. However, as soon as she got there, Bayley fled. Sasha Banks had won the match by count-out, and hence the RAW Women’s Championship.

This came as a major bummer to many WWE fans who expected a great match between these Superstars. However, they got Sasha Banks, who normally fights tooth and nail for the title, winning it by her current character’s sinister ways.

This loss will not be taken lightly by Asuka. She will undoubtedly want payback. To add insult to injury, Kairi Sane announced her departure from WWE earlier today. Bayley mocked her on Twitter following this announcement.

Asuka may reveal a deeper, darker side to her character

WWE may have a big makeover for Asuka now. We’re talking an entirely different persona.

More like a darker side to her character. This calls attention to her time in Japan when she sported a much darker demon-like aura under the name of ‘Kana’ and pulled it off.

WWE has already had two major persona changes this month with Jeff Hardy’s “The Willow”, and the return of “The Fiend”. This persona change cannot be thrown out of the deck of cards.

Asuka has also proven that she can adapt to any role WWE has for her. We may see her transition into a refreshed and revenge-driven character that will throw Banks and Bayley off their high-horses.

We will have to wait and see, however, what the next step will be for Asuka. The next episode of RAW will be highly anticipated for this.
