Sasha Banks Puts An End to the Real Backstage Heat with Alexa Bliss

Sasha Banks and Alexa Bliss are two of WWE’s standout performers of the late 2010s. Both Sasha and Alexa have won every main roster title on the roster, making them two of the most decorated wrestlers in WWE.

Banks and Bliss had a long time rivalry

In 2018, Sasha Banks confirmed that she had some real-life heat with Alexa Bliss. “I have people I don’t like,” said Banks when she was asked about her friendships in WWE. Banks was asked if she wanted to continue working with Bliss, to which the Boss said, “Not really.”

Sasha said, “I think if they wanna have me wrestle Alexa, they can do that because I can do my job very well.”

The feelings were mutual when Bliss said, “The way I see it, Sasha can think or say whatever she wants. As long as it fuels her fire for us to have a good match, I’m fine with it.”

The real life heat has come to an end after Sasha expressed her wish to team with Alexa Bliss. In an interview with Stephanie Chase, Banks said, “I would have to choose Alexa Bliss. She is so cute.”

Banks and Bliss are currently enjoying major career highs. Bliss is on Raw alongside the Fiend, terrorizing the entire Raw roster. Last week, she single-handedly took out John Morrison to help Bray Wyatt beat the Miz.

Bliss and Banks are also on seventh heaven outside of WWE. She recently got engaged to Ryan Cabrera, who’s an American songwriter. Banks’ Hollywood career took off when she was cast in the Mandalorian.

Banks is over on SmackDown, where she is now embroiled in a rivalry with the returning Carmella. The former SmackDown Women’s Champion attacked the current champion last week, establishing her place as the number one contender.

Survivor Series on the horizon

WWE’s last big four PPV of the year is here, and Sasha Banks and Alexa Bliss are in opposite scenarios. Bliss is not booked for the event, even though the Fiend might have a big role to play at the PPV.

Banks is scheduled to face Asuka in a Champion vs Champion match. Banks and Asuka faced each other multiple times in 2020, and will be looking to kill it once again at Survivor Series.
