Dwyane ‘The Rock’ Johnson has become one of the most notable figures on the face of this planet. With his rise in fame in pro-wrestling came a few responsibilities on his shoulders and his peers recognized his talents.

The Undertaker recently appeared in an interview where he recalled the time when he wrestled The Rock in the early 2000s where he happily jobbed out to The Rock to put him over in a pass the torch moment.

The same happened at WrestleMania 18 when Hollywood Hogan returned to WWE and faced The Great One where the WWE Universe witnessed a ‘pass the torch’ moment between Hogan and Rock.

The Phenom recently appeared in an interview with the American comedian, Kevin Hart, where he opened up about his life in wrestling and various other things. However, The Undertaker had a few words of praise for the former WWE champion.

The Undertaker thought the timing was right for The Rock

Speaking with Kevin Hart, ‘Taker admitted that he wanted The Rock to lead the locker room and the entire roster because the WWE Universe also wanted the same for the Samoan.

“The Rock, way back in the day. You could tell that he was right there on the threshold. I’m the tenured vet there [WWE] and I remember telling him ‘sorry kid, it’s your night.'” he said.

The Rock went on to become one of the most decorated superstars of all time. Eventually, successfully transitioned himself from a pro-wrestler to a full-time Hollywood star. During his Hollywood career, Johnson has worked with Kevin Hart and shares a great bond with him.

Now, the WWE Universe is waiting for the former champ to show up and face off against his brother, Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship.
