When discussing the Rousey vs Morgan battle, it was brought up how Morgan had seen a fairy-tale rise since winning MITB and amassed a sizable fan base. In light of that, as Hitman has seen the massive fanbase in his prime; he was asked how fans are important for any wrestler.

In his words, “You know, I think it’s really something that you got to work on. You have to earn that respect and appreciation from your fans. Because the fans are always gonna be the ones that inspire you and it’s one of the greatest things.”

Ronda Rousey received a harsh reality check from Bret Hart

It is commonly known that “The Baddest Women on Planet” ruled the UFC before the WWE. In addition, Rousey joined WWE after she retired and outperformed her there as well. However, Hart claims that the fact that she lost her championship in MITB came as a wake-up call for her.

Hart stated, “I think Ronda Rousey’s still in a lot of ways, kind of, new to the wrestling world. She maybe underestimated the whole predicament she was in. It’s a shock for me that Ronda lost. I thought she would go undefeated for a long, long time. Similar to Brock Lesnar, Ronda got a big wake-up call. The wrestling world is not going to be quite easy as she thought it was.”

Hart believed that Rowdy would be unbeaten for a very long time, just like her UFC career. She did, however, lose the title relatively quickly, which will undoubtedly indicate to her that WWE overall is extremely different and it is a wake-up call for her.

As per Hart, even if Rowdy has millions of followers, she needs to put in more effort to get the fans’ love and affection since she is still a relatively new addition to the world of sports entertainment.
