As the WWE SummerSlam party is on its way to the end, there was an interruption by former US Champion Matt Riddle. He hijacked the show for a moment, putting his career in jeopardy and calling out Seth Rollins for a match at the biggest party of the summer.
After the fantastic tag team action, we saw Riddle coming out from the crowd to cut a small promo for calling out The Visionary. Surprisingly, for a moment the WWE Universe in the arena thought The King Bros, and The Architect were having a match.

Seth Rollins almost ended Matt Riddle’s career at WWE SummerSlam
When Seth Rollins made his presence felt, Riddle quickly ran towards him. A brawl broke on the ramp which needed the WWE Officials to break it. However, the brawl went in the ring where the former WWE Champion Curb Stomped Riddle.

Riddle suffered a shoulder injury on last week’s RAW and they canceled hence his match against Rollins. However, risking his career, Riddle came to SummerSlam in hopes to have his match that was taken out of the card.

The WWE medical team checked The for US Champion as he wasn’t able to stand. Moreover, The Visionary walked away laughing after finishing his task.
What this always the plan for Seth Rollins and Riddle?
Even though Seth Rollins and Riddle had a brawl at SummerSlam that ended badly for the RK-Bro member, their match wasn’t on the card. However, was this always the plan for Rollins and Riddle at SummerSlam?
A few days ago, Fightful Select shared the plans in their report. As per them, WWE had written off Riddle as a plan of “creative adjustments.” The King of Bros isn’t injured and WWE has plans for his feud with The Visionary for the upcoming future.

WWE will most probably plan their match for the UK event Clash at the Castle in September. It seems what happened at SummerSlam was always the plan for the superstars. Moreover, it was there wasn’t a new opponent for the former WWE Champion.
The further plans of this feud will come into the light on the upcoming Monday Night RAW, if Rollins cuts a promo on Riddle.
