After struggling to sustain success and then take off for a second time under the former boss, Vince McMahon, now XFL is all set to make its return. The one who rescued the league from bankruptcy and gave it a new life is none other than former WWE wrestler, Dwayne Johnson. He revived the football league to let it serve its fans with good quality sports entertainment. However, it seems like rather than getting excited about it, fans already fear its collapse.

The history of XFL isn’t that pleasing, which also raises doubts in fans’ minds about its continued success. It was originally launched in 2001 and soon folded due to its plummeting viewership. After this awful closure, it relaunched again in 2020 just to get a colossal hit by the Covid-19 pandemic. Now, it’s time for XFL to again kick off and go beyond. To do so, it will surely need the support of its fans. But the scene here looks contradictory as fans aren’t that sure about XFL’s future.

These announcements, just three days after its season opener, didn’t sit well with the fans. It’s also making them insecure about the league’s future as reflected in their reactions on social media.
