Bray Wyatt lost his Universal Championship months back to Goldberg. Post that, Goldberg lost the title to Strowman at WrestleMania.

However, even if everyone else in the WWE Universe has moved on from that rivalry, the ‘Eater of Worlds’ has certainly not forgotten about his encounter with ‘The Myth’ and proabably the biggest superstar of WCW.

A few hours ago, Bray Wyatt took to Twitter to bury the hatchet with Goldberg. The Universal champion forgave Goldberg; however, he also gave him a small warning.

It is wonderful that Wyatt is ready to put the past behind and move on. Goldberg may also agree with this. However, Wyatt has given a friendly advice to Goldberg as well.

Wyatt has asked Goldberg to be careful of the red light of ‘The Fiend’ and think twice if ever the situation demands an encounter between the two.

Is Goldberg next on the list of the Fiend Bray Wyatt?

This tweet has definitley led to speculations about the return of Goldberg. His match against Wyatt was a one-off and WWE Universe will love to see one more.

Goldberg recently signed a three year contract with WWE. Out of those three years, half year has already been completed. This means he still has 2.5 years left in his contract.

Here is what Goldberg had to say in an interview about his current WWE Status.

“I am contracted with the WWE for the next two years through 2022, ’23, I’ve got two matches per year. I’ve exhausted my limit this year quite early on April the fifth with WrestleMania under these really weird circumstances.”

Goldberg wrestled his quota of two matches at WWE Super Showdown against Bray Wyatt and against Braun Strowman at WrestleMania 36. Goldberg also went on to speak about how it was difficult for him to think of returning to the ring at his age.

“But I’ve got a couple other extremely interesting projects right on the cusp, but as you guys know in the entertainment business right now everything’s on hold unless it’s a production of 10 or under pretty much. We got a lot of cool things that people are going to find out about pretty soon. My WWE commitment is still going strong. At 53, I never would’ve imagined especially after making fun of Flair when he was doing it in his early 40s.”

The possiblities of Goldberg returning unitl 2021 are very very less, unless WWE strike a special deal of sorts.
