Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has achieved tremendous success as a Hollywood actor. However, his journey to popularity started in WWE when he debuted at Survivor Series in 1996. His popularity skyrocketed in 1998 when he changed his attitude from a laughing babyface to a bad guy in WWE.
The attitude era fans were much different from the crowd today. They loved The Brahma Bull and since then The Rock has made a major connection with the fans all around the world as a wrestler.

Multiple wrestlers have praised The Rock for setting a great benchmark for the relationship of the fans and WWE superstars.
Cody Rhodes calls Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson a great example for the future talent
A few days back Cody Rhodes appeared on WWE After the Bell podcast where he discussed some of the major highlights of his career. During their discussion, Corey Graves asked him about his thoughts on the future scheduled shows for the upcoming WWE superstars.
Rhodes said, “I would say the next step is there already and it’s more about expanding upon the personal connection that a fan has with their favorite. That personal connection last a lifetime, The Rock is the prime example. The people who are fans of his are life fans of his.”

Cody Rhodes gave a fitting example about The Rock. Before becoming an actor, The Rock made a huge fanbase who cheered for him and stayed with him when he left WWE to pursue his acting career.

The Rock may return to WWE early next year
Since Roman Reigns has returned as The Tribal Chief, fans want to see his match against The Rock. For the entire year of 2021, WWE and Reigns teased a return of The Rock, but unfortunately, it didn’t happen.

However, in the episode of ‘Young Rock’, the match between the two was teased. A young Roman Reigns is seen asking ‘The Rock’ to wrestle with him. The Rock neglects the request saying this will be a WrestleMania caliber match and now is not the right time.
Fans consider this episode a benchmark to ignite the feud between The Rock and Roman Reigns. This is also a sign that The Rock can return to have a match.
