Gonzalez said, “Two or three months after, I got a message from him (The Rock) saying how proud he was of me and how hard I worked. I honestly just couldn’t believe that he would take time out of his day to send me like a two-minute message. That’s what kind of a stand-up guy The Rock is.” 

Gonzalez was in disbelief that The Great One would do such a thing for her. In addition, Dwayne Johnson, in this message, stated he was proud of Dasha Gonzalez and the way she worked hard to be in the wrestling industry.

The former WWE ring announcer also mentioned that Dwayne Johnson valued her personality. In addition, Johnson cherished Gonzalez for representing the wrestling business and even thanked her for the same. According to the 34-year-old female wrestler, The Rock paid honor to her in a way no one ever could.

“He thanked me for representing wrestling. I was just so shocked. He said, ‘It’s so good to have somebody like you representing the wrestling industry and not giving up. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you come from. You gave it your all.’ I felt like I did it, and it was nice to see that he recognized that and everyone there recognized that, so I’m just, even still to this day, I’m so grateful for it,” Dasha Gonzalez added.

The heartwarming gesture by Dwayne Johnson shocked the AEW announcer Gonzalez. Former WWE Champion seems to have mutual respect for the contribution of Dasha Gonzalez to pro wrestling.

Gonzalez witnessed the sweet gesture by The Rock three years ago. However, she won’t ever forget the words coming from The Great One.
