Later, Renee Young penned an emotional letter for her WWE family. She did this because she loved her job, and “nothing beats a love letter.” Young talked about her 8 years of experience with her colleagues, ranging from Vince McMahon to Daniel Bryan. Young posted the letter on The Players Tribune.

Renee Speaks about ‘Talking Smack’ experience

Renee said she’ll forever be grateful to Daniel Bryan because thanks to him, she got her best experience of WWE . She “earned” her very own talk-show, ‘Talking Smack.’

“Out of everything I did in WWE, that’s probably the single thing that I enjoyed the most. I think I felt like it was the most me if that makes sense. Like I finally got a chance to do something approaching “my thing,” Renee said. “I could be fun, I could be sassy, I could be a little messy and a little rough around the edges and real — and that’s just always been my M.O. I think it worked, too.”

Renee spoke about wrestlers’ authenticity on the show and how people were comfortable.

“Talent got to be themselves on Talking Smack: there was sort of this IDGAF attitude, but at the same time you were seeing work. Like, some of the character work that guys did on our show was just unreal. And PEOPLE GOT OVER!! People got over, in a really unique way….. that to me is just a fact”, she went on. “Honestly I’m just so impressed with what we built there, so glad they’re bringing it back, and I hope it lasts a million seasons.”

WWE Talking Smack was a backstage show hosted by Renee Young. It was canceled earlier this year. However, WWE Network decided to bring it back with joint hosts Kayla Braxton and Xavier Woods. The first iteration of the reprise aired after SmackDown last week.

Coming back to Renee Young, it is indeed disappointing to see her leave, but we are thrilled to see her grow and embark upon a new journey of a lifetime.
