Undertaker and Yokozuna were buddies in the 90s. Taker would often hang out with Yokozuna’s cousins, which included a very young Roman Reigns. Taker was considered a friend of the Samoan dynasty.

Paul Bearer’s name is synonymous with Undertaker’s. ‘Truly missed,’ said Taker about his deceased legendary manager.

Taker and Bearer were one of the most entertaining duos in wrestling. Very few managers were able to stick to kayfabe the way Bearer did, even though he was a real life funeral director.

Undertaker had kind words for two of his most recent opponents. He referred to Triple H as ‘one of the greats’. Undertaker and Triple H battled at three WrestleManias, and most recently they clashed in Australia and Saudi Arabia, in 2018.

Taker called Goldberg an ‘Icon’. In WCW, Goldberg made an icon of himself, with an amazing 173-0 undefeated streak.

His amazing streak would only be eclipsed by Undertaker’s 21-0 WrestleMania Streak. In spite of their terrible and almost fatal match in Saudi Arabia, Taker had kind words for Goldberg.

Steve Austin threw a curveball at Undertaker by throwing Giant Gonzalez at him. The former Argentinian basketball player was a terrible wrestler, and his match at WrestleMania 9 against the ‘Deadman’ was one of the worst in the history of the PPV. ‘Rough day at the office,’ was all Taker could come up with.

He described Shane McMahon as someone with ‘tremendous energy’. Shane and the Undertaker clashed in 2016 in a WrestleMania Hell in a Cell match, and in 2019, when he teamed with Roman Reigns to take on Shane and Drew McIntyre.

Paul Heyman and the Undertaker have a special connection that harkens back to the latter’s WCW days. Taker often credits Heyman for the birth of the Undertaker. ‘A tremendous mind,’ said Undertaker about the special counsel of WWE’s Tribal Chief.

Speaking of the Tribal Chief, Taker referred to Roman Reigns as ‘the future of the Samoan Dynasty’. Roman Reigns has billed himself as the new Tribal Chief of the WWE, and the head of his family. Having beaten Taker already, the Deadman had no choice but to acknowledge Roman as the future of the legendary family.
