The Undertaker Isn’t the First WWE Legend to Be Honored With a Statue

WWE will finally induct The Undertaker into the Hall of Fame on April 1st, 2022. A career that spun 30 years in WWE will get its well-deserved place. The Undertaker getting inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame was the biggest thing for The Deadman.

Prior to the Hall of Ceremony, WWE honored The Undertaker with a bronze statue recently at the WrestleMania Axxess. The Deadman was present with his close friends and family for the first look of the statue. It was at the statue at Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, Dallas, Texas.

They well made the bronze statue of The Phenom, which was a big gesture to The Undertaker from WWE. However, is The Undertaker only the superstar after whom WWE has made the bronze statue? No, there are a total of seven WWE pro-wrestlers to have a bronze statue made after them.

Recently, after The Undertaker’s statue was unveiled, a Twitter page 80’s Wrestling shared a picture of Hulk Hogan watching Andre the Giant’s statue, the caption said, “There was only one Andre The Giant!”

Since the beginning of 2013, WWE started honoring Hall of Famers and legendary wrestlers by unveiling bronze statues after them. Andre the Giant’s statue was first revealed by WWE in 2013 at Izod Center, East Rutherford, New Jersey. 

The other WWE superstars who have a bronze statue made after them are Bruno Sammartino, The Ultimate Warrior, Dusty Rhodes, Ric Flair, “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, and the latest one being The Deadman.

They kept the seven statues at the seven different WrestleMania Axxess locations across the USA. These statues are the elite superstar who changed the course of the business over the years.

The Undertaker is literally a living legend whose career has positively affected inside and outside of WWE. To be a part of this elite group is the biggest honor for Taker. Everyone now is looking forward to the Hall of Fame speech of The Phenom.

WWE will finally induct the Phenom into the Hall of Fame on April 1st, 2022. The Undertaker has claimed that it will be an emotional roller coaster ride while describing his journey from 1990 to 2020 in WWE. However, The Deadman is mainly worried about Vince McMahon‘s induction speech.

While talking with The Dallas Morning News, The Phenom said, “I have absolutely no clue what he’s gonna say. I’m a little bit nervous. There is no one that Vince loves to play practical jokes on more than me and the fact that the Hall of Fame on April fool’s day, who knows what’s gonna happen.”

Everybody is waiting to see The Undertaker taking the last step to finally end his WWE career as an active superstar. With the unveiling of the bronze statue, the main event of The Undertaker’s emotional night will be at the Hall of Fame ceremony.
