The Undertaker has been well off the grid for months now, and it’s safe to say that his wrestling career is done and dusted. However, “The Deadman” doesn’t refrain form bringing back sweet memories of his character time and again.

In a recent post on Instagram, Taker posted a photo of his wife, Michelle McCool, wearing his famous black coat, holding his neck. This resembles the exact reaction of Superstars when Taker himself poised them up for a Chokeslam.

Here, Taker is referring to the supernatural powers of his famous coat that stayed with his character throughout his career.

From his debut back in the WWF days, Taker has been sporting a long dark coat. Although in recent times, the coat transitioned into more ominous leather ones with intimidating designs. Regardless, people still remember the classic Undertaker attire.

Back in the good old days, The Undertaker wore grey boots and purple gloves and sported the same coat as you can see in the picture above.

The coat has been with The Undertaker for decades

This coat may have originated right along with The Undertaker himself. Taker has been spotted wearing this coat several times since while walking slowly towards the ring.

The coat, along with the hat and gloves, has become an iconic part of The Undertaker. Through the years, it has become a part of him. When he left it in the ring, people widely believed that he had retired.

However, “The Deadman” returned to terrorize his opponents again in a few months.

WWE has never seen a Superstar that loves his job more than The Undertaker. Sticking with the company through thick and thin, there’s no one who knows the art of wrestling more than The Undertaker.

The veteran legend announced that he was retiring from WWE a few months ago. Fans were disappointed since they wanted to cheer him off on his final match, but Taker decided that his time was up.

The Undertaker has mentioned that when things get back to normal and he does get a call from Vince McMahon, he will consider sporting his coat once more.

However unlikely it may be, you never know. If it’s one thing I’ve learned from “The Deadman”, he doesn’t stay in the ground. Even if he doesn’t return, his ring attire will always be one of the most recognized in WWE history.
