Seth Rollins lost to Drew McIntyre on Sunday’s Money in the Bank PPV. He has now opened up about his disappointment with the WWE.

Rollins mentioned what happened last year in Hell in a Cell against Bray Wyatt. The match, in its own right, was gruesome and bloody. Rollins even had to go out of his character, and that has taken a toll on him.

“At the end of the day, there’s no real nice way to put it, I was dead in the water after Hell in a Cell,” Rollins said.

“And a lot of that was nothing that I could control. I was left out there as a bit of a scapegoat in that situation, and there was nothing I could do about it, but I was the one that had to face the scrutiny.

“And no one really cared about me at that point in time, or about how I was feeling or about what really went into that moment, that night, and everything that went along with it. No one cared about Seth Rollins and how it affected me or how involved I was in any shape or form.

“So, the writing was on the wall at that point. It was time to hunker down and make some changes, and some of those are tough lessons to learn. But, that’s what happened, and here we are. There’s no point lamenting the past; it’s time to move on, move into the future and figure out what you’re gonna do about it, ya know? What can you control,” Seth Rollins on an exclusive interview with TalkSport.

Were the writers wrong in putting Seth Rollins in such a match-up? Rollins feels so. He eventually ended up losing the Universal championship to Bray Wyatt at Crown Jewel. Things have not been the same from that point.

Dubbed as the ‘Monday Night Messiah’, he turned heel too soon. Rollins, together with Authors Of Pain (AOP) attacked other superstars and won the tag team championship with Buddy Murphy.

Recently, on Monday Night RAW, Seth Rollins brutally injured Rey Mysterio and adapted an altered behavior. The writers should cut him some slack before he flips. He is one if not the best superstar they have at the moment and risking to lose him is not worth it.
