CM Punk speaks on behalf of his fellow citizens

CM Punk was asked about his feelings on the prevailing state of the country. Punk revealed that he is not capable of understanding how African-American people feel, simply because he is not one of them. However, he implores people to try and understand them.

I’m a white guy, I’m not here to pretend to understand how black people feel, and I don’t think that it’s my place to tell them how they need to react. This country has a problem, that much I know.

Punk mentions that the country has a problem. He remarks that the only way to deal with intolerance is intolerance. He takes a dig at how the US works by saying white people are privileged, but that privilege should be used to support others.

Punk concludes by asking white people to use their voice. The voice that can protect their African-American brethren.

If you’re white, use your voice, protect your black brothers and sisters and protect the people that this country was not built for. They might say it was, but everyone has a different experience. And just listen more,” Punk remarked.
