The Undertaker and Kane, collectively known as the Brothers of Destruction, are no strangers to the wrestling world. The duo was one of the most dominant tag teams of all times, but the brothers were also arch nemesis.

The ‘Phenom‘ also mentions it was their dominance as a tag team that led to them going separate ways. Who could’ve possibly gone past these two hammocks, anyway?

The duo also spoke about their rivalries over the years and noted how every time they feuded, they kept the storyline fresh and entertaining for the audience. The first time they met, Kane debuted unleashing havoc on The Undertaker at Badd Blood: In Your House in 1997.

The second time, it was their one of a kind WrestleMania XX rivalry that took place after Kane’s unmasking. During both these feuds, The Undertaker had the upper hand, but it was their feud in 2010 that was something different.

Brothers of Destruction share the story behind their feud in 2010

Kane mentioned how WWE always knew that Kane versus The Undertaker was a money feud, a feud that would draw an audience. He thanked The Undertaker for wanting to put him over, but mentioned his worry of making it unique for the fans for the third time.

He said, “What Mark did in his idea, was like, ‘This was a chance to elevate Kane.’ Kane and Undertaker are truly equal as far as in the eyes of WWE. For me, it was thanking him very much for doing that.

“That was, from my perspective anyway, of his thinking in this is how do you get Kane to really be the equivalent of The Undertaker? Which was no small feat because we had this long history before. I guess the biggest challenge though was how do we make this different and unique this time,” continued Kane.

The Undertaker, on the contrary, was very confident that the feud would deliver and well, there’s no doubt it did!

He said, “I didn’t have any doubt that we could make it good and make it relevant again. It was just being creative, and then just changing the narrative from what people had seen early on.” The ‘Deadman’ continued, “That was Kane dominating The Undertaker, and it was like, ‘Oh, okay. I guess little brother finally caught up to big brother, and now, he’s going to pay the price.’ It was fresh and new again.” H/t WrestlingInc.com

The Undertaker and Kane are definitely brothers from different mothers that gave fans countless memories to cherish. The ‘Deadman’ retired after an illustrious career at WWE Survivor Series, the same PPV The Undertaker first started collecting souls and digging holes at, three decades ago.

Many WWE Legends and Hall of Famers appeared for The Undertaker’s final farewell, but it was only his half-brother Kane that was in full gear. Perhaps a reunion down the road for the Brothers of Destruction when the ‘Big Red Monster’ officially retires? Let us know in the comments below!
