“I get home and I see I got an email from Canyon Ceman saying, ‘Hey, we’re interested. Paul Heyman wants me to reach out and bring you to Raw,” said Storm. “I was like, ‘Wait … I think Bobby is going to Raw. Hmmm. This could be interesting.’ Ya know?”
During the negotiation process, Stop reveals that he was given a temporary contract with NWA. Billy Corgan and Dave Lagana of the NWA Tag team division hooked him onto a contract that would let him go when the WWE interest advanced.
“I told them I would work the weekend of WrestleMania shows with Eli [Drake] to drop the NWA belts to whoever they wanted to drop it to. Just go out on good terms. Good business, ya know? Then that show got canceled for the NWA, and then it kept snowballing.”
The deal for James Storm was done and ready-to-go
Storm reveals that the deal was as good as done and he was all set to make his WWE debut in June,
“We agreed on all the terms,” said Storm. “It was signed.”
