WWE Superstar Keith Lee made a name for himself while he was working in NXT. He won both the NXT Championship and the NXT US Championship and made himself synonymous with the NXT brand.

However, his main roster call-up is not something the fans or the wrestler himself were hoping for. The lackluster matches and the unfortunate event of COVID-19 forced Lee to take a brief hiatus of five months.

However, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon made it clear earlier that he will portray Keith Lee as a great monster heel of the Red Brand, and the WWE creative team is slowly building to that narrative.

Keith Lee teasing his heel turn

Ever since his return from his hiatus, Kee has majorly worked in pre and post-show dark matches where he would portray some heel tactics, which means he is subtly shifting his gears.

Earlier today, Lee took to Twitter in a rather intriguing text in which he teased about his eventual heel turn and wrote that nothing in life expected but change.

“One constant you can always expect in life…is change.” Lee wrote.

However, the WWE Universe has other plans. During those dark match segments, the crowd would cheer the former NXT Champion like a babyface despite his heel tactics.

As noted earlier, Lee could join hands with the former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley now that MVP has been ruled out of action for “indefinitely” after sustaining an RKO from Randy Orton.

Keith Lee still has to prove his worth on the main roster, and his recent performance doesn’t do him any good. The WWE Universe could only hope to see the best version of Lee if he turns into a heel.
