Kamaru Usman, the top fighter pound-for-pound, suffered a crushing defeat to Leon Edwards at UFC 278 recently, shocking the fans. The outcomes of the match also stunned former WWE Superstar and actor Dwayne Johnson.

Today’s pay-per-view was held at the Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah. Additionally, The Nigerian Nightmare was scheduled to face British competitor Leon Edwards in a sixth UFC title defense.

He believes that nobody can predict where a knockout will occur in a UFC fight, irrespective of whether there are two minutes or two seconds left in the contest. And he thinks it distinguishes Dana White’s promotion from others. Notably, Edwards prophesied that Usman would be distracted from the fight as he entered the movie industry and that Edwards will take advantage of this.

Usman said that he wanted to dominate numerous industries, like Johnson, and that his aim was to achieve more commercial success. But Edwards’ stunning KO made him helpless, although he had nearly complete control of the bout. Thus, getting his title back will now be a top goal.
