Brock Lesnar aka The Beast Incarnate is one of the most undestroyable forces in WWE. He made his debut in 2002 and had a successful run in WWE and wrestling before switching to UFC. Lesnar had quite a successful stint in UFC where he was the UFC Heavyweight Champion.

Fedor Emelianenko, also known as ‘The Last Emperor’ was a terror force in the world of MMA. Several fans regard Emelianenko as the greatest heavyweight in the world of MMA. During his whole career, Emelianenko never competed for the UFC. The 45-year-old is currently competing for Rizin Fighting Federation and Bellator MMA.

Speaking on a recent episode of 5 Round Main Event, Josh Thompson and ‘Big’ John McCarthy started discussing a fantasy matchup between, Brock Lesnar and Fedor Emelianenko. McCarthy said, “A fight that should have happened was Fedor Emelianenko versus Brock Lesnar. When the UFC was trying to sign Fedor, they were going to put Fedor right away against Brock, who was their champion.”

He said that, “UFC had too much confidence in Brock Lesnar.” McCarthy further confesses that Brock was a ticket-selling machine whom everyone wanted to see. However, he also mentions that everyone knew “Fedor was the guy, he was the one coming from Pride, he was the GOAT.” 

McCarthy continued to say that Fedor would have hit Lesnar, whereas Brock did not like getting hit. He stated it was a fight that should have happened, although the results would not have made Dana happy.

He concluded by saying that, “That fight did not happen because Fedor couldn’t have his management get what they wanted in having their name put on the UFC.” 

What did Brock Lesnar achieve in the UFC?

Ever since his arrival in UFC, Lesnar was a top-drawing star. He was already famous from his days in the WWE. However, being a trained professional wrestler and new to the world of MMA, he quickly made a name for himself.

Lesnar was also a UFC Heavyweight champion during his stint inside the octagon and had his last bout against Mark Hunt which he won. The decision was later overturned because of a failed drug test. He ended his career in the UFC with the stats of, 5-3-1.
