Vince McMahon is a man who conquered the wrestling industry in the ’80s and continues to sit at the top, even if he isn’t the CEO or the Chairperson. His influence has brought forth some of wrestling’s greatest stars to life. From Stone Cold to Shawn Michaels, his creatives were always of the highest caliber.

But as they say, every great artist is not always the greatest person. Vince’s eccentric behavior is something that many wrestlers and former employees of the company have opened up about. And here is another one on the list of people who praised him as well as critiqued his whimsical nature of doing business.

Brian Solomon talks about Vince McMahon being ecstatic in the office

Journalists and critics have riddled the wrestling world by spreading their constructive criticism. Seeing their favorite sport being treated better by the various promotions and wrestlers. A former head writer for the WWE magazine, Brian Solomon, opened up about his experience working for Vince McMahon.

He said, “We wanted to do the greatest steel cage matches ever, and he goes, ‘Boy, you guys really need to take your heads out of Dave Meltzer’s a**.’ I’m terrified, of course, I don’t know what I’m supposed to do. I’m like 30 years old. Whatever it is, I’m just trying to feed my kids, and this crazy billionaire and his whims.”

Vince McMahon is a man who follows his gut more than the numbers and data. There have been multiple times when the boss has changed his plans at the last second. CM Punk not being able to main event WrestleMania 29 is a prime example.

There are many reports that Monday Night Raw goes through last-minute changes just before the show is supposed to go on air. Vince has never been one to mold into mediocrity. He knows the business inside out, his plans exceed far out into the future than anyone can predict. His decision to end the territorial wrestling promotion rule brought forth WCW, TNA, and AEW into renown.
