The guidance and sheer hard work of Vince McMahon have brought WWE to a spot where it is difficult to reach. The success did not come overnight, as he set some specific rules in the company to follow by everyone, which made WWE a well-functioned organization.

Everybody in the business is aware of how seriously Vince McMahon takes the rules of the company. However, sometimes The Chairman has waved off the protocols with a warning to the employees and WWE Superstars.

The latest episode of Broken Skull Sessions saw Bubba Ray Dudley as the guest of Stone Cold Steve Austin. The WWE Hall of Famer shared his memories of WWE and also talked about his TNA career.

Bubba Ray recalled the time when Vince McMahon confronted him about breaking the rule of going extra time on live TV. Surprisingly, the WWE Chairman loved the segment and gave Bubba a warning for the future.

Bubba said, “I’ll never forget one night The Dudley’s (vs) RTC, live SmackDown, Madison Square Garden. We went 5 minutes over on live TV. 5 minutes! That’s grounds for, your bags are packed, they are waiting for you, but we blew the roof of the Garden. It went so well. I don’t even get one foot over the curtain and he’s (Vince) right here Steve, and he says, ‘If you ever go this over on my live TV again, it better be as good as that,’ and he walked away.”

He added, “You wanna talk about a double-edged sword, meaning don’t you ever do that again. Man, that’s Vince telling you to your face. He’s not sending an agent, he’s not sending anybody (to say), I’m pi**ed off but da*m that was good”

Vince McMahon does not like it if somebody takes extra TV time when the show is live. Only a few WWE superstars have been let go by The Boss after taking extra TV time. Apart from Bubba Ray, Eddie Guerrero used to take extra time on live TV and Mr. McMahon didn’t have any problem.
