Recently, wrestling analyst Bradon Thurston, who is famous for posting the financial news of WWE, shared a tweet. In the tweet, he shed a light on the increasing stock value of WWE shares in the market on 25th July 2022.

As per Thurston’s tweet, WWE shares saw a tremendous hike in the NYSE on Monday after Vince McMahon announced his retirement on Saturday. Before sharing the information about the closing bell, the former Indie wrestler shared a previous tweet about Mr. McMahon’s shares.

In his previous tweet, Thurston shared WWE stock valued at $71 since noon. Before the bell, Mr. McMahon’s 28.7 million shares were valued at $150.5 million in total on Monday. Moreover, he shared the stock price was $66.22 on Friday when Vince McMahon announced his retirement the same evening.

It seems the post-Vince era in WWE has started with a bang, both in the market and on-screen products. WWE announced itself as a public company in 1999. Previously, it was named World Wrestling Federation Entertainment Inc. and was sponsored by Titan Sports, Inc.
