Chris Jericho is one of the coolest and the greatest professional wrestlers of all time. Through his 30 year long career, Jericho has always reinvented his character and stayed relevant even in changing times of the business.

Y2J spent the majority of his career, precisely 19 years with the WWE, before parting ways with the company in 2018. He has since worked in New Japan Pro Wrestling and is signed full time to AEW. With Jericho leaving WWE after 19 years; looking for options outside, one wonders, did WWE not treat him well enough? Let’s find out.

Chris Jericho’s WWE debut is one of the most memorable moments of all time. Jericho’s debut was done extremely well, and the way he started off was just outstanding.

The man of 1004 holds has had a very decorated career in the WWE. Every feud that Jericho has been a part of has been great to watch, and the man has reinvented himself to fit the mold of every generation he’s wrestled in.

Speaking of Jericho’s accolades in the WWE, Y2J is the first-ever Undisputed WWE Champion. He is the only man to beat The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin on the same night. Not just that, but he is also a record 9-time Intercontinental Champion and a 6-time World Champion.

Jericho also added the Tag Team Championship to his resume as well. He won the Tag Team Championships 7 times with 5 different partners! Overall, if one has to analyze Chris Jericho’s career was in the WWE, it’s safe to say that they didn’t waste him and they did surely treat him well.

Chris Jericho left WWE because his scheduled match against Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 33 was to be the main event for the Universal Championship. WWE had promised Jericho this match, but the plans changed at the last moment and WWE set Brock Lesnar versus Goldberg for the Universal Championship.
