WATCH: 76-Year-Old Vince McMahon Had a Near-Fatal Encounter Recently

Vince McMahon is under investigation after news circulated over allegations that he paid $3 million to a former employee. Mr. McMahon stepped down from his position and meanwhile his daughter, Stephanie McMahon, is the interim Chairwoman of the WWE.

McMahon, after having announced his stepping down from his position for the time being, appeared on weekly shows. He appeared on SmackDown first and on the next week’s RAW.

However, it seems Vince McMahon’s appearance on SmackDown was rather unplanned. He came out and simply said the tagline of WWE. However, his appearance on RAW to announce John Cena’s return for his 20-year anniversary on the June 27 episode of the red brand.

However, when Mr. McMahon was exiting the ring, he was about to fall down. The Chairman had got stuck in between the bottom ropes, but he saved himself by holding the pole. A fan shared the video on Twitter with the tweet, “Found the Mr McMahon jump video after all! 😂”

Vince McMahon, ever since stepping down from the top brass position, appeared on the weekly shows as an on-screen character. The former Chairman jumped from the second stairs and high-fived a couple of fans near the barricade.

The investigation also involved the claims of the involvement of Head of Talent Relations, John Laurinaitis. While McMahon appeared on RAW and SmackDown, they suspended Laurinaitis from WWE. Bruce Prichard is currently handling the coveted position.

Vince McMahon and Linda McMahon are not living together

After the allegations floating around about Vince McMahon, there were more rumors about him. The rumors regarding Mr. McMahon and Linda McMahon are that they are no longer staying together. Dave Meltzer on his Wrestling Observer Radio shared his thoughts on this matter.

Meltzer, while commenting on Vince and Linda McMahon’s relationship, which is for over 50 years, said they are still married but are no longer together. He said, “Technically they’re married. I mean, they haven’t been together in a long, long time though.” (H/T Inside the Ropes Wrestling).

Another speculation Meltzer made was that if Stephanie McMahon knew about this settlement. He thinks there might be a possibility for this investigation and Stephanie McMahon taking a leave of absence having connections.
