When one thinks about Hulk Hogan, it’s usually his WWE run. But, Hogan never limited himself to WWE.
There have been times when he took his skills beyond WWE, and wrestled with other promotions.
A video on social media shows how different Hogan’s wrestling was when he worked with NJPW in a match against Keiji Muto.

The match shows the quicker side of The Hulkster. His movements are quick, the match is fast paced, he’s moving swiftly but steadily.. just like a cat! On the other hand, his WWE matches have been different.

His WWE opponents have always been the big men. The bulkier and muscular the men were, the harder it was for them to move around quickly in the ring. As a result, the matches became slightly slow-paced. On top of that, the WWE matches were more about smashing but his NJPW match shows a combination of various wrestling movements.

Hulk Hogan remains one of the biggest names in the pro-wrestling industry
The Hulkster reached the peak of his stardom when he was working with WWE. Some of his work with the likes of Ultimate Warrior, Macho Man, Andre The Giant, and The Rock continue to be some of the best matches in WWE history.

In fact, Hulk Hogan’s match against The Iron Sheik for the WWE Championship in 1984 remains one of the most important matches in history. It was Hogan’s first title win, and he was unstoppable from that point.

Hulk Hogan was last seen at WWE at WrestleMania 37. He was one of the hosts of the event alongside Titus O’Neil. But, since then, Hogan hasn’t been around.
For sometime his health had degraded and he even lost significant weight, but he has since recovered. For now, he has started being present at his Florida Beach Shop.

It’s unknown if he will return to WWE anytime soon. It’s possible he could be present at one of the upcoming PPVs as a host or special appearance but nothing is set in stone. Quite a bit depends on his health and if WWE is at all interested in bringing him to the shows.
