As he started to conquer Hollywood, there was another celebrity who he locked horns with. Moreover, it happened to be his own co-star from the Fast and Furious franchise.
While Dwayne Johnson has made it big in his own brand of movies, he was not the face of every movie he did. Speaking on “The Joe Rogan Experience“, mixed martial artist Brendan Schaub gave the gory details of the war of words between The Rock and Gibson. When Joe Rogan brought up the topic of the feud between Gibson and Johnson, Brendan Schaub said.
“He has his Fast and Furious so that when The Rock did a spin-off, he’s like ‘How dare you? we are a family’. The Rock’s like ‘No we’re not'”
This was followed by Joe Rogan bringing up the time when The Rock went after Gibson’s music as a part of their feud. Schaub reacted to it and said, “That was fantastic”. However, Joe Rogan expressed shock at these actions of The Rock as he said. “Well cause Rock is so positive.”
The Rock and Tyrese Gibson seems to have ended their feud as reports of them being at peace emerged.
