The “legend killer” Randy Orton is all set to face WWE Champion Drew McIntyre at the upcoming WWE Clash Of Champions 2020. However, after last night’s actions, it seems Orton may have some disadvantages.

On this Monday night Raw, Randy Orton faced off Keith Lee (again). However, the past strength of the Viper was much subdued.

Before the match, Orton was attacked by his future opponent – WWE Champion Drew Mcintyre. The champ hit Randy Orton’s jaw with his Claymore Kick.

This was an act of revenge for Randy’s punt kicks from last week. The kicks almost cost McIntyre his career.

Since this shocking attack of revenge, Randy Orton was physically devastated, constantly checking up on his jaw.

Keith Lee again shocks Randy Orton

Orton and Lee faced each other in the main event. The match was promoted as a “Payback rematch.”

From the very beginning, Lee looked strong as Orton looked concerned for his jaw. After a little hustle and bustle, Orton tried to hit an RKO on Keith Lee. However, the outcome is not what he expected it to be. See the video below –

Keith Lee, thanks to his strength, countered the RKO in a never before seen way. He then flung Orton to the ropes and hit him with the elbow.

Later in the match, Orton again tried to execute his finishing move but got slammed by Lee. However, the ‘Viper’ was finally successful in his third attempt.

Just then, a “medically uncleared” McIntyre reappeared in the match. He hit Randy with his third Claymore of the night, significantly damaging the jaw. The match ended in a disqualification (again).

The match perfectly showcased the bitter rivalry between Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre. However, the match itself and Keith Lee were absolutely unnecessary. Keith Lee has a lot of potential but he has only been used like a side act up till now.

Hopefully, WWE will find a better opponent and match for the “limitless one” for Clash of Champions.
