Randy Orton has been dominating the WWE for as long as we can remember. He entered the promotion in the early 2000s and became a fan favorite almost immediately.

Orton in his early days was a hard worker and was extremely athletic. Today, we look back at some of his best moments in the ring, feuding with WWE legends, forging himself into one at the same time.

Randy Orton vs WWE Legends
Orton had an extremely memorable feud with The Undertaker, in one of the best casket matches ever. At WWE No Mercy in 2005, Orton and Undertaker had both fallen into the casket but kept exchanging blows while trapped in it.
Orton finally made it out of the casket, with some help from his father. The Viper set fire to the casket, with The Deadman still in it, grimacing at the flames.

Orton also had a notable run-in with Shawn Michaels, the Heartbreak Kid in 2003. The Viper’s match was interfered with, by Ric Flair who tried to sabotage Orton’s pin. Orton, however, bounced back and slammed HBK from outside the ropes.
Orton has had quite a few feuds along with his father. Most famously, he had engaged in a brutal feud/storyline with Mick Foley and Roddy Piper.
He chastised Piper for having a smooth ride through the WWE, while his father endured punishment, for little, to no recognition. Orton RKO’d Piper in the ring, waited like the snake he is, and RKO’d Mankind too.

Orton also had a run-in with one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, Hulk Hogan. He was seen flirting with Hogan’s flame at the time, near his car. Hogan interrupted with, “I’ll see you at SummerSlam, son,” and walked around his car. Orton immediately popped in with an RKO out of nowhere, right on Hogan car.

Perhaps the most recent in the minds of fans, Orton had a long and elaborate feud with WWE Hall of Famer, Edge. Their bouts were magnificent, culminating in the “Greatest Wrestling Match Ever” at Backlash recently.

Through all of these instances, it is clear that Orton is a certified legend killer. The Viper is 40 years old at this point, and it looks like he has a lot more in store for fans.
