WATCH: Ric Flair Pays Tribute to His Greatest Rivals Including Hulk Hogan, The Rock and Stone Cold

Ric Flair is one of the most revered WWE legends of all time. ‘The Nature Boy’ has the legacy of 40 years in professional wrestling, during which he came across several WWE icons at least once in the ring. He had thrilling feuds with a handful of them, including Hulk Hogan, Dusty Rhodes, and Sting.
The 16-time World Champion, however, has applauded many of his rivals with nice words, unlike one would expect of the old days’ Slick Ric. In a recent Twitter post, Ric Flair paid tribute to all of his greatest rivals as he considers it an honor to share the ring with them.

‘The Sixty Minute Man’ has faced them all and gone through everything. He always gave the best from his end to maximize the thrill for the audience. Also, Flair contributed to all of those WWE and WCW superstars’ careers.

In his recent Twitter post, Ric Flair shared video footage of WWE that features some of his spectacular rivalries with legends such as Hulk Hogan, ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin, and The Rock. “It’s Not About How Many World Titles You Have! It’s About The Honor To Have Wrestled So Many Greats To Get Where You Are! All Of These Gentlemen Are GREAT! WOOOOO!” wrote the Limousine Ridin, Kiss Stealin, Naitch.

Further, in the video, a young Ric Flair is saying, “I live and die and breathe each day of my life for this business“, as part of a TV promo. Recently, Flair also thanked his iconic rival Dusty Rhodes and Dick Murdoch, as well as the Hardy Boyz, in separate Twitter posts for old time’s sake.
Most Significant Rivalries of The Nature Boy
There aren’t many in WWE history who can claim to have fought with such a long list of professional wrestlers. It’s very noteworthy that Ric Flair endured this many years on the ring so that he could share the ring with superstars from multiple generations.

However, the most substantial rivalry he had was with ‘The American Dream’, Dusty Rhodes. Their feud was special as Dusty Rhodes was the opposite of Flair – humble, blue-collar, upright, and he represented the common people in America.
The Hulkster and Flair had a constant feud that made them face each other more than 10 times a year since 1994. While Hogan is more like a neighborhood hero, Flair was considered a better wrestler.

Other notable mentions are Ricky Steamboat, Sting, and Randy Savage. Nevertheless, the WWE legend is grateful and respectful to a lot of his opponents as they all helped each other establish their distinctive places in the history of pro wrestling.
