Shotzi Blackheart might not be okay after this week’s NXT. The Superstar suffered a bad botch in the very first match of the night after she landed squarely on her head.

Shotzi and Dakota Kai opened NXT with their match. The story was mainly between Kai’s bodyguard, Raquel González, and Blackheart’s friend, Rhea Ripley. However, a terrible botch took the spotlight away from the amazing competitors.

Shotzi took an ugly-looking bump on the apron as Kai tried to suplex her. Unfortunately, the first part to hit the apron was Shotzi’s head.

While both of them were down on the floor, the referee checked up and cleared them for participating. Although Gonzalez tried to interfere with the match, Ripley chased her off. Finally, it was Blackheart who won the match via pinfall.

WWE NXT and Performance Centre are already going through quarantine due to the second outbreak of COVID-19. Although the officials have assured they are taking safety measures to contain the virus, the risks are still there.

According to reports, WWE could shift NXT to the Thunderdome in Amway Center, Florida after the outbreak is taken care of. In this situation, an injury, that too on a promising talent like Shotzi Blackheart, will only weaken the brand more.
