Hulk Hogan came in WCW having already attained stardom. Over the years in WCW, Hogan wrestled against some of the biggest names in the pro wrestling industry. Hogan’s determination and wrestling skills got him to the very top.

He got involved in many storylines. But there are even incidents outside the storylines that relate to Hogan, even though he did not have a part to play in it. One such incident is the firing of former WCW superstar, Dave Sullivan.

Recently, The Hannibal TV uploaded an excerpt from their podcast with Kevin Sullivan. In the excerpt, Kevin Sullivan talked about the story involving Dave Sullivan’s firing from WCW.

He mentioned that one of Hulk Hogan’s closest aides cost his on-screen brother his job. Dave Sullivan played the role of Kevin Sullivan’s dyslexic brother in WCW.

Kevin did not mention the name of the person. However, it can be anybody as many people who are close to The Hulkster were in WCW at that point in time.

Following the WWE legend’s debut in WCW, Dave Sullivan and Hulk Hogan teamed up with Sting to face Ric Flair and his henchmen. Because of Dave’s bond with Hogan, Kevin turned on Dave and the two had a huge feud.

Kevin Sullivan revealed how Hulk Hogan’s jealous close aide got Dave Sullivan fired

In the interview, Kevin Sullivan revealed how Dave Sullivan lost his job in WCW. He even mentioned it to be a vicious thing that happened. Kevin said, “‘F**k you and your family, you are gonna get fired’. I am not going to say who said it but one of the Hulk’s protectors group.”

“We are at TV and some fan said, ‘Oh, he looks exactly like Hulk Hogan’. That person, he went and told Hulk, ‘you got to get rid of him’. And that’s how a very nice human being that busted his a** got fired by a guy that was sucking Hogan’s a**,” he added.

The reason for firing Dave Sullivan does not fit right with the wrestling fans at all. At the end of the day, a true wrestling fan will definitely be able to identify who is Hulk Hogan and who is Dave Sullivan.
