WWE Survivor Series 2021 is scheduled for November 21st, 2021. While there are several matches on the card, one important match is Team SmackDown vs Team Raw, for both divisions.

The method for picking the teams is qualifying matches. However, this year, WWE selected WWE Survivor Series 2021 teams without the matches.

Initially, WWE chose Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Finn Balor, Rey Mysterio, and Dominik Mysterio for WWE Raw team. However, Bobby Lashley returned to WWE Raw: November 8th, 2021, and Adam Pearce changed his mind.

He informed Dominik Mysterio that every member of Team Raw was a previous champion. Therefore, he would need to battle Lashley for the spot. As expected, The Almighty destroyed Dominik and took his spot on the team.

Coming to WWE SmackDown Survivor Series Team 2021, the first set was Drew McIntyre, Jeff Hardy, Xavier Woods, Sami Zayn, Baron Corbin (flanked by Madcap Moss).

However, on WWE SmackDown: November 12th, 2021, Hardy and Zayn had a confrontation. As a result, Zayn approached Adam Pearce and demanded Jeff Hardy be removed from the team.

Instead of removing him, Pearce announced that Jeff Hardy and Sami Zayn will battle, and whoever loses gets removed.

Jeff Hardy defeated Sami Zayn, and the latter was removed from Team SmackDown. However, his replacement is yet to be announced.

Finally, on WWE SmackDown: November 19th, 2021, Sheamus defeated Jinder Mahal, Ricochet, and Cesaro in a Fatal 4-Way match to become the final member of Team SmackDown.

WWE Raw Team members for the women’s match are Rhea Ripley, Zelina Vega, Carmella, Liv Morgan, and Bianca Belair.

While all the women are great Superstars, recently, almost all of them battled in one way or another. Therefore, it’ll be rather amazing if the women can get along during the match.

Initially, the WWE SmackDown Survivor Series team members were Shotzi, Shayna Baszler, Sasha Banks, Natalya, and Aliyah.

However, on WWE SmackDown: November 12th, 2021, Naomi interfered when Sonya Deville was announcing the team. As a result, Natalya, Shayna Baszler and Shotzi teamed up against Sasha Banks, Naomi, and Aliyah in a six-man tag team match.

Aliyah pinned Natalya for the win, but Sonya Deville didn’t appreciate Naomi’s team winning. Therefore, in a backstage segment, Deville informed Aliyah that she was no longer a part of Team SmackDown.

The company announced that Toni Storm will be the final addition to Team SmackDown.

What is the WWE Survivor Series 2021 5-on-5 traditional match?

A team of Superstars from each brand face each other in the ring. Ultimately, it boils down to which team has been eliminated completely by the other.

The remaining team wins the match!

Usually, this is a way for both brands to show which is the better one, and gets the WWE Universe talking. Mostly, the teams have 4 or 5 people, but there have been events where there were 10 people per team.
