WWE Smackdown saw a shocking turn of events. In the first segment itself, the show saw a Hell in a Cell match getting confirmed. Universal Champion Roman Reigns offered his cousin Jey Uso another title shot, which he readily accepted. However, one moment from the segment is causing quite a stir.

Just before leaving the ring, Roman Reigns hugged Jey Uso and whispered something in his ears. As the microphone was not well-placed, the words were hard to decipher. However, we have done that for you.

As seen in the video, after announcing the “highest stake match in WWE,” Roman Reigns told Uso, “I love you. But if I was you, I would not accept this challenge. This time there are going to be real consequences.”

He then dropped the mic and left the ring. After his music hit, Jey Uso announced, “Whatever the stakes are… You are on, Uce!” The commentators then discussed what the “highest stakes” could be and what could possibly be worse than getting inside Hell in a Cell?

Roman Reigns wants Jey Uso’s acknowledgment

The opening segment of this week’s SmackDown was supposed to be Roman Reigns’ coronation segment as “The Tribal Chief.” Although his “advocate” Paul Heyman said it is Reigns’ birthright to be the tribal chief, Reigns wanted his brother, Jey Uso’s recognition, and he called him out.

Jey Uso made his way to the ring and said they both showed their true colors at Clash of Champions. However, Uso is confident that he would have beaten Reigns for the Universal title if Jimmy Uso had not interfered.

Reigns then stared at Jey and said he wanted Jey to have his main event moment for his wife and kids. He wanted to represent the Anoa’i Family. All Reigns wanted was the recognition as the Head of the Table. Jey Uso made Clash of Champions the worst night of Reigns’ personal and professional life by disrespecting their family.

He called out Jey for looking at the Universal Title. To get over Uso’s obsession with the title, Reigns offered him a rematch at Hell in a Cell. However, he warned him the match will have the highest stakes in WWE History.

Although Reigns is yet to emphasize the stakes, we believe it could be a “loser leaves the WWE/brand” match. If he really wants it to be intense, then it could be “loser denounces the family name.” However, we have to wait and watch as the actions unfold on SmackDown.
