In an episode of today’s talk, the superstar admitted how he felt ‘super bad’ about some things he did to Bella. ”Now when I look at what I had done then as to what I would do now, I just wish I had asked her to marry me then.”, he explained.

He had also opened up about a 75-page pre-live-in contract which was completed for selfish purposes. ”I was very abrasive and stern and she had to sign this huge, crazy agreement to come in the front door. So since then, I’ve kind of softened.”, Cena admitted. He also shared his wish to again sign a contract before their marriage. But this time for the sake of Bella and not himself.

Flashback to the good part

However, things between them were not like this forever. Once, in a WrestleMania match in 2017, Cena proposed to Bella with a grand gesture after getting down on one knee. The 70,000 audience present there got totally overwhelmed as she said yes. Just after that, the couple sank into a deep passionate kiss.

Revisiting their old good days, the couple first caught feelings for each other in 2012. Since then, there were numerous breakups and patch-ups between them.  Finally, they broke up and never looked back since 2018. Despite looking super good together, the picture-perfect couple failed to continue.
