Jimmy Uso saved Jey Uso from Roman Reigns at WWE Clash of Champions. The question is – did he do it to out of the goodness of his heart or is there an ulterior motive that isn’t quite visible at the moment?

First, let’s focus on the relationship between the twins.

Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso have dominated the Tag Team division for the better part of the decade. Unfortunately, Jimmy Uso suffered a knee injury that put him out of the ring for at least six to nine months. This meant that Jey Uso would finally get the singles run he wanted.

Now, the very first feud that Jey Uso landed in was with Roman Reigns, the WWE Universal Champion. This skyrocketed his growth trajectory, and he became one of the most valuable singles stars on the WWE roster. As a result, he is leaps and bounds ahead of his twin in terms of popularity.

This means that whenever Jimmy Uso comes back, even if WWE puts the two of them together, some amount of resentment is ought to be there. In fact, it might even have an impact on their relationship together.

Furthermore, Jimmy Uso has another reason to react negatively to Jey Uso’s newfound fame. There was a time during the pandemic when Jimmy Uso had a singles run. At that point, he wasn’t put into any storyline that was as strong and interesting as the Roman Reigns-Jey Uso storyline.

Jimmy Uso might benefit from betraying Jey Uso

Roman Reigns is the self-proclaimed Tribal Chief of the Anoa’i family. Hence, he now sits at the head of the table. Jimmy Uso could hugely benefit from aligning with Roman Reigns instead of Jey Uso.

The only point to consider here is whether Roman Reigns will be willing to align with one of his little cousins while in a feud with another.

However, aligning with The Big Dog means betraying his brother. This action will definitely bring him the popularity that Jey Uso is enjoying at the moment. Tragically, it would mean that the greatest Tag Team of the current generation will get mixed with the dust.

At the end of the day, it boils down to what Jimmy Uso considers a bigger win – fame or family.

Will The Rock come back to save the family from doom?

Finally, WWE can drag on the storyline until the company finds the perfect ending. On top of that, this storyline involves the members of the Samoan family. As a result, Vince McMahon might lead this storyline to WrestleMania where Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson will make a comeback to the ring.

By then, if Jimmy Uso has already betrayed his sibling, it might be a classic case of Clash of the Cousins – Roman Reigns-Jimmy Uso vs. The Rock-Jey Uso.
