In 2021, Johnson surpassed Smith to become the highest-earning actor in Hollywood. According to reports, The Rock has made $42 million from films, which is more than Smith’s $40 million.

According to US Weekly, Johnson was paid $20 million for his role in Red Notice. In addition, Johnson has also earned $22 million on Jungle Cruise.
However, while Johnson is the highest-paid actor in 2021, he has earned $42 million from his two films. Whereas Will Smith had earned $40 million only with his one film.
After so many years in the industry, Smith has shown once more that he is still the king of Hollywood, with a single film earning him $40 million. As per the reports, Smith earned US$40 million for his Oscar-nominated movie King Richard.
Dwayne Johnson will replace Smith in Aladdin 2
During his acting career, WWE superstar turned actor Dwayne Johnson has delivered some of the biggest earning movies. In addition, Johnson is now speculated to be replacing Will Smith in Disney’s Aladdin Sequel.
The Rock has featured in multiple Disney films such as Jungle Cruise, Moana and Race to Witch Mountain, and he may be working with them again.
