WWE Superstar Sasha Banks has been one of the more dominant performers in the WWE.
She has held major titles multiple times and is no stranger to championship gold.
She is widely respected as one of the pioneers of the Women’s Division. Talent like her, Becky Lynch, Ronda Rousey, and Charlotte Flair are largely responsible for building the WWE Women’s Division into what it is today.

However, Banks seems to have been sidelined in recent times.
The ‘Blueprint’ saw major success with her friend and tag team partner Bayley. She became one half of the inaugural Women’s Tag Team Champions along with Bayley.
The expectations seemed to be extremely high for Banks, as she had bonafide star potential.
Some believe that she has now been sidelined, as nothing more than a sidekick to Bayley in the WWE.
Sasha Banks to be part of a betrayal storyline?
Banks seems to have comfortably settled into her current role, supporting her friend Bayley in all her matches, and in her reign as Smackdown Women’s Champion.
This is a waste of Banks’ potential as a performer, as she has been seen to have excellent skills in the ring. In addition, she also oozes charisma.

Betrayal arcs/storylines are nothing new in WWE, and have been done many times.
Setting up a well-written storyline in which Banks manages to break out of Bayley’s shadow would be excellent for her career. Banks definitely has the skill and talent to carry herself to the top.
Especially now, after the Women’s Roster suffered a huge blow following Becky Lynch’s departure, Sasha Banks would be a welcome replacement, to carry the company further.
