One of the most noted couples in pro wrestling history, both in the ring and outside of it, has to be Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. Both played their on-screen characters to near perfection, feuding and aligning with each other. Away from the ring, they held the company together after Vince McMahon’s sudden retirement last year.
The pair had a relationship on WWE programming in the early 2000s, which then translated into a real-life marriage of both stars. The two also began publicly appearing as a couple on live tv during their reign as ‘The Authority’ in WWE. The company and the couple itself haven’t given their fans many details about their marriage or personal lives other than that.

But once on a late-night TV show, Triple H spilled some beans about the day of his wedding with Stephanie. It might not be the details we were waiting for, but it is nonetheless a hilarious moment.
Triple H once revealed details from his wedding
On Late Night with Conan O’Brien in 2004, the show host asked ‘The Game’ about the wedding. Given that both of them were deeply connected with wrestling, he asked if there was a theme to it. To start, Triple H told him that just six days before their big day, his father-in-law, Vince McMahon, had a wrestling match with his own daughter at No Mercy 2003.

Then Hunter mentioned the most hilarious moment of his wedding. He said, “So, my wedding party was like the world’s largest wedding party. Everybody on the groom’s side was like 7 feet, 300 lbs, and all these little girls on my wife’s side. So it was kind of a circus event.”

Given the fact both Triple H and Stephanie had forged friendships in the WWE, many in-ring stars would’ve been present to witness the special occasion. Incidentally, ‘The Cerebral Assasin once talked about how wrestling legend Michael Hayes had his own moment at their wedding ceremony.
While it might have been funny or weird for the audience that day on the show, Attitude Era saw McMahon family members going after each other often. Vince has already wrestled against both of his children and his son-in-law, Triple H. So, for McMahon, there was nothing off the table went it came to wrestling.
