The time is finally here! Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes are ready to face each other at WrestleMania 39. However, before moving to the biggest match of his career, ‘The American Nightmare’ did a gesture that definitely melted everyone’s heart. He paid tribute to Luke Harper aka Brodie Lee through his son, who is known as -1 in AEW.

Rhodes made his entrance first and before entering the ring, he went ringside to greet his mother, wife Brandi Rhodes, daughter Liberty, and Brodie Lee Jr. The 37-year-old paid tribute to Harper by giving his belt to his son, who was ringside.

Luke Harper was mentioned in WWE after a long time.

The reason why Cody Rhodes is the biggest babyface!

Since Luke Harper passed away in December 2020, Rhodes has been like a pillar to back him. The entire AEW family and Rhodes gave a tribute to Lee on a special AEW show where Lee Jr. was presented with the red TNT title which his father held before passing away.

However, it would have been a much bigger feel good moment if Rhodes would’ve won the title. The 37-year-old came short of winning the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship due to the interference of Paul Heyman and Solo Sikoa,

The match also saw Rhodes putting Reigns through a table and connecting a Pedigree. But even though all of these efforts he wasn’t able to win the match and as sad a moment it was for him, the fans to felt it. The chase for the title will be on for some more time and the day will come when we will see Rhodes winning the title.
