5-time WWE Champion Says Brock Lesnar “Underestimated” Roman Reigns at SummerSlam 2022

Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns put it all on the line last night at SummerSlam in Nashville. In fact, the ‘Beast Incarnate’ went the extra mile with a jaw-dropping entrance and merciless carnage. While the WWE fans globally loved what Lesnar brought to the mix, one WWE Legend had different thoughts.
WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart was the recent guest on Extraaa Dhamaal SummerSlam on the Sony Sports Network. During his appearance, ‘The Hitman’ talked about SummerSlam and gave his honest thoughts on everything that transpired at the Biggest Party of the Summer.

The 5-time WWE Champion watched the main event closely and gave his unfiltered assessment. Bret was a little critical of Lesnar for a particular thing, and that is, focus. Bret Hart believes the ‘Beast Incarnate‘ may have underestimated the ‘Head of the Table.’
Bret said, “I think Brock, there’s a bit chance that he may have underestimated Roman Reigns’ desire to finally come back, and give a taste of his own medicine.”
Adding further on his excitement before the match, the ‘Excellence of Execution’ said, “To me, it was going to be a very interesting battle today because I know both guys had their mindset on proving something. I think Brock maybe underestimated how Roman Reigns was going to be a different fighter this time.”

Bret Hart loved the Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns last man standing. While he was a little critical towards Lesnar, he had nothing but praise for Roman Reigns on the same show. He revealed understanding what mindset Roman Reigns was in heading into the match.

“You know it’s a really intense rivalry. I know Roman Reigns, it’s really been a long time due to settle the score with Brock Lesnar and get even for all the past matches that they’ve had. I think he had a different mind focus going into this match. I could tell he meant business this time.” said the Canada Walk of Fame inductee.

Although Roman Reigns won the match with some assist and distractions, there is no denying he gave it all in the ring. And that’s what impressed Bret and WWE fans around the world. It’s safe to say that just like the whole world, even the ‘Hitman’ acknowledges the ‘Tribal Chief!’
