Well, what happened was Sasha Banks, and Naomi were scheduled for a six-pack challenge match. Initially, Naomi was set to win this match by pinning her tag team partner Banks to face Bianca Belair for the Raw Women’s Championship at Hell in Cell premium live event.

Current AEW star and mentor fired at WWE for taking jabs at Sasha Banks and Naomi!

Since Banks and Naomi left the arena before the main event, Vince McMahon and the company set up a match between Becky Lynch and Asuka. However, WWE Raw commentator Corey Graves called Sasha Banks and Naomi “unprofessional” on live WWE TV.

Former WWE superstar Mark Henry did not well receive this act by Corey Graves. Henry recently spoke about the incident on the latest Busted Open Radio podcast.

Mark Henry said, “You can’t do it with pride. It was not right; it was wrong as hell to say for him [Corey Graves] to say that about another talent that he worked with that he got to walk the halls with, eating, catering with, fly together with. That was not his place to say that and it was not Becky Lynch’s place.”

The World’s Strongest Man addressed the WWE for taking jabs at Sasha Banks and Naomi through co-workers. But, according to Henry, it was probably Mr. McMahon or creative people who told the Raw commentator to take shots at Banks and Naomi during the live show.

Mark Henry’s furious at Corey Graves’s statement during WWE Raw!

Mark Henry understands the situation; however, it was not anyone’s place in the company to even bring up Banks and Naomi on air. The World’s Strongest Man mentioned personal opinions shouldn’t reflect during live WWE programming in the same interview.

“The whole point is if the office [WWE] told them [Graves] to say that they were wrong for doing that and they put them in a bad spot. Because if they took it upon themselves to say, ‘That was unprofessional.’ You keep that opinion to yourself and not on the air,” Mark Henry added.

The change of events would have eventually resulted in a break-up of Banks and Naomi’s tag team title run. However, before that could happen, ‘The Boss’ and ‘The Glow’ walked up to Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis’s office, left their titles, and walked out of the arena.

During the latest edition of Friday Night SmackDown, commentator Michael Cole announced that the actions of Banks and Naomi have led to their suspension. In addition, ‘The Boss’ and ‘The Glow’ have been stripped off as the WWE Women’s tag team champions.
