In an exclusive report by Ringside News, it’s been revealed that WWE eliminated all Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania 38 plans for Shane McMahon. This comes after he caused problems during Royal Rumble 2022.

For starters, he wanted the match to revolve around him. Next, he openly berated Jamie Noble. As a result, The Big Man decided his son will no longer be a part of “creative discussions.” H/t Ringside News
So far, he is no longer a part of Elimination Chamber, WrestleMania 38, and WWE Raw.

Shane McMahon was booked for huge matches before replacement
Initially, WWE had considered booking Shane against current WWE Champion Bobby Lashley for WrestleMania 38, since Brock Lesnar challenged Roman Reigns. In fact, he was going to be a part of the Elimination Chamber too.
However, when plans started to change, the company considered booking him against Seth Rollins. Unfortunately for Shane, WWE postponed this potential move too.

It’s unknown whether Shane will be in future WWE developments.
Prior to returning at the Royal Rumble, WWE had booked him in a storyline with former WWE Superstar, Braun Strowman. The storyline revolved around Shane insulting Strowman’s intellect and asserting he would always be a man with less than average intelligence.

This led to the steel cage between Shane and Braun at WrestleMania 37. More than highlighting Shane’s skills, the match truly brought Braun Strowman’s immense strength under the spotlight.
Now, most of the time, WWE booked Shane in matches where he came out on top as the winner. But this time, it was a total surprise. Strowman absolutely destroyed McMahon in the match. It truly was an impressive match.
